Tiffany and David
David and I met the first time when we were around 10 & 11. We had a quick relationship in elementary school (as kids do) and reconnected in High School. We started dating in 2004 and were engaged in September of 2013. It wasn't something we ever really talked about and I wasn't one to ever imagine my wedding which is probably why it took us so long. We promptly decided on a 2-year engagement, which was amazing since we were able to enjoy it.
We planned our entire wedding together; there wasn't one decision that we made without the other. I felt extremely lucky to have a partner that was as involved as David. Our first decision was a date, we knew we wanted it to be sometime in the fall but it only fell into place with our second decision, a venue. We wanted something different but simple and that is when we somehow came across The Warehouse Venue - it couldn't have been more perfect and it didn't help that is was super close to the Toronto FC training grounds (our favorite MLS team). Next on the list was our photographer. We are awful when it comes to pictures and we aren't ones for PDA so whoever took our pictures was going to have to be amazing, and we found the very best. The day was long (we started at 6 a.m. for hair and makeup and finished at 2 a.m.), but it was the most incredible day and the greatest way to kick off our marriage. Having everyone who was so important in our lives and relationship in one room was more than I could have imagined and it warms my heart thinking about it to this day.
Our wedding day was a long time coming and I wouldn't have changed one single second of it.
